ARE INSECTS SAFE TO FEED DOGS?

Absolutely. In fact, studies in various countries have noted that some insect-based foods may be better for pets than prime steak. We have undertaken rigorous research and trials with Loopworm, where we source our insect protein from, to ensure the suitability, and superiority, of our food. In our trials on our own pets, we concluded that “overall, the puppies being fed the Maggie’s insect protein diet had a better body condition score than those being fed a meat based cooked or raw diet.

WHAT TYPE OF INSECTS DOES Maggie's USE?

We use silk worm extract in powder form. Silkworm pupae are nutritionally comparable to poultry, delivering high-quality protein, essential amino acids, and healthy fats that support muscle maintenance and overall vitality in dogs.
